THE Class
More than classmates, friends.
Seventy-seven lawyers. Thirty countries. One year that somehow felt far too short.
The LLM’26 Class arrived in Hyde Park as judges, handball players, associates, drummers, in-house counsel, runners, government attorneys, ship captains, academics, and even former partners, from every corner of the world.
We came with different legal systems, different accents, and wildly different opinions on whether Lunch Talks with not enough food should be considered a human rights violation.
Along the way, we survived cold calls, mastered the art of pretending to understand US “law” before actually understanding it, and learned that Chicago winters are not merely weather—they are a character-building exercise.
What started as a class became a community. This website is a celebration of the people, friendships, memories, and stories that made the LL.M. Class of 2026 unforgettable.
